Newport City Public Schools
consist of Rogers High School, Thompson Middle School, and
five elementary schools. The enrollment at Thompson Middle
School is approximately 540 students. Military dependents
comprise about 14% of the total enrollment.
Our school was completely rebuilt and reopened in September
2002. It blends a rich history with completely modern
technology and equipment.
