Registration Information

Kindergarten Registration for 2010 - 2011 School Year

Kindergarten Registration will take place on the following dates:

March 23, 2010 * 8:00 AM - Noon * Newport Public Schools Administration Building

March 24, 2010 * Noon - 6:00 PM * Newport Public Schools Administration Building

March 25, 2010 * Noon - 5:00 PM * Headstart, 8 John H. Chaffee Blvd, Newport

WHO SHOULD REGISTER: All children entering Kindergarten in September of 2010.

Children must be age five (5) on or before September 1, 2010.

Registration for Kindergarten is at the Newport Public Schools Administration Building - 15 Wickham Road.  Parking is available in the lower lot next to the tennis courts.

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION:

A. Birth Certificate must be presented on the day of registration for each child entering the Newport School System.

B. Proof of Residency (lease, utility bill, letter from military housing office, etc.).

K - 12 Registration

The following documentation is required for registration in Newport Public Schools:
