SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.  SENIORS SHOULD CHECK POSTINGS WEEKLY 

Please allow 10 school days for any transcript or recommendation requests from the Guidance Office in order to meet the deadline date for the Scholarship.

Paul Sherlock Scholarship Must be a Rhode Island resident; must be a graduate from a RI high school, or have completed an approved Home Schooling or posses a GED; provide proof of acceptance as a full-time student at a nationally accredited 2 or 4 yr college.  Applications available on-line www.rischolarships.com June 1 2008
RI Italian American Hall of Fame High academic achievement on the part of the male or female student; evidence of financial need; a record of outstanding athletic accomplishment in varsity level competition or; similar accomplishment in acknowledged interscholastic artistic endeavor; must be a Rhode Islander who is or will be a graduate of an accredited state high school and who is of any ethnic background, creed or color June 2 2008
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Must be an African American female graduating high school senior and is now pursuing higher education; Overall minimum GPA of C+; Community service participation by applicant within the year of application June 15 2008
The Leonard W. & Katherine C. Hayward Maritime Memorial Scholarship Must reside in Newport County and be accepted for admission in an accredited educational program which will assist in preparing them for seafaring occupations by providing academic and/or hands-on experience June 16 2008
BigSun Scholarship Organization High School Senior currently involved in some sport at that institution.
